Written Directions to the District  Offices in the Hostetter Building
50 Cypress Drive, Glenville, NY 12302
(formerly know as the Glenhaven Building)

From the East or West
Take the New York State Thruway (Route 90) to Route 890. (Note: Route 890 runs through Schenectady starting at Thruway exit 25 east of the city, and ending at Thruway exit 26 west of the city.) Stay on Route 890 until you reach exit 4B for Erie Blvd. and Washington Ave. As you follow the exit ramp, the main building of the Schenectady County Community College will be on your left. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left at the light onto Route 5, State Street, which will take you across the Mohawk River on the Western Gateway Bridge.

Move into the right hand lane. Go straight through the 1st traffic light at the end of the bridge, and turn right onto Route 50 North at the 2nd light. Stay on Route 50 for about 3 miles, through the village of Scotia and into the part of Glenville with several shopping plazas in a row on your right.

Continue past the K-Mart and Hannaford shopping plazas on your right, and watch for the Trustco Bank on the right. Directly across the street from the Trustco Bank is Sheffield Road. Turn left onto Sheffield. (At this corner is also the first of several green signs with an arrow saying "BH-BL Schools Hostetter Building.)

Stay on Sheffield for one block and turn right onto Bigwood. Follow this road until it ends. Bigwood winds through the development and runs into Cypress Drive. The Hostetter Building is at the end of Cypress. You will see the sign and entrance for the District Offices on the left side of the building as you drive up.

From the North or South
Take Route 87 to exit 9 "Route 146, Clifton Park." At the end of the exit ramp, turn onto Route 146 West and stay straight on this road for 8 miles. After 6 miles, the road called Route 146 will turn left, but you stay straight and go through two very narrow underpasses. The highway is called Glenridge Road at this point.

As you come down a big hill and into the same shopping area described in the directions above, you will see the K-Mart plaza on your left and the Hannaford Plaza on your right. At the traffic light, turn right onto Route 50, and follow the directions above from there.
