Voter turnout was the somewhat lower than usual for the district, but that has also happened in previous years when the Board of Education seats were uncontested, and the many hours of rain on May 15 probably kept some voters away as well.

There were a total of 2,227 residents voting, including 37 who voted by absentee ballot. In the last five years, turnout for the annual budget vote has ranged from approximately 2,050 to 3,050 voters.

The highest ever voter turnout at BH-BL was 3,131 voters in 2003.
