F-DAY

STUDENTS

A blood drive is scheduled for Monday, February 13th from 1-6 p.m. and is sponsored by Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) and the SHELLSTRONG Foundation.  Students interested in volunteering for the blood drive should sign up in the Principal’s Office.

The following groups will meet during AAP on Tuesday:

Green Club – Room 228

Interact – Room 103

Attention All Baseball Players in Grades 9-12.  There will be a mandatory sign-up meeting on Tuesday, February 7th at 2:45 p.m. in the Red Room.  Any player who plans on playing baseball this Spring needs to attend.

Tickets for the Marshall MORP will go on sale in the cafeteria beginning today.  The Dance is March 30th from 7-9 p.m. in the Stevens Elementary Gym.  All High School students are welcome!  The Dance is in memory of Karen Marshall and only costs $5 for pre-sale tickets and $7 at the door.  Outfits should be semi-formal and cost $20 or less, go retro, go simple, borrow…just go and have fun!  Live music, desserts and more!

The Art Club – Room 229

Friends of Rachel Club – Room 207

Auditions for the original student production “Learning the Ropes” will be held Tuesday, February 14th from 3:30-6 p.m.  Please see the board outside the auditorium for sign-ups and information.

There will be another Open Gym on February 14th for all interested softball players.

Freshman:

Be sure to turn in your t-shirts/sweatshirt orders and money to Mrs. Golden (Room 129) or Mrs. North (Room 131) by today.

 

Juniors:

There will be a College Fair on May 2nd at the HVCC Campus.  The fair will run from 6-8 p.m. and representatives from over 180 trade schools, colleges and universities will be in attendance.  Admission is FREE!  Stop by the Guidance Office for a flyer.

 

There are several SAT/ACT prep course available this spring.  Stop by the guidance office for an information sheet on available classes.

Need a Job?  Job Match has jobs for teens.  Go to the website www.chsny.org and click Job Match or see the coordinator in Guidance every Thursday 11-1.
