The four BH-BL High School guidance counselors assist with course selection, career interest inventories, computer-assisted career and college counseling, college admissions and post-high school planning, advisement, financial aid and scholarships, as well as job search information. Naviance

We are pleased to offer Family Connection from Naviance, a web-based service designed especially for students and parents. Family Connection is a comprehensive website that you can use for help in making decisions about colleges, careers and scholarships. Students have been provided with a personal access code and instructions for accessing and creating a Family Connection account. Summer Camp Opportunities

Dear Parent:

The Greater Capital Region Career Pathways Consortium is pleased to announce its Career Pathways Summer Camp offerings for Summer, 2012.  Our camp sponsors have once again come up with brilliant strategies for reinforcing the importance of science and math via fun activities. Career Pathways camps are fun, free and located throughout the region.

All camps will utilize a  scholarship system that requires students to be nominated by a Teacher or School Counselor in order to be considered for a camp.  Scholarships will cover all tuition costs for camps.  Students should only be registered for one camp.

IMPORTANT – If you plan to pre-register your child, you will need to provide the name and e-mail address of the teacher or counselor who will be providing a recommendation.  This should be the teacher’s school district e-mail.  YOU SHOULD HAVE THEIR E-MAIL ADDRESS BEFORE YOU START COMPLETING THE ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION FORM.  This is very important as the online pre-registration form will also serve as scholarship application
