Selection of Members
The national organization requires
that all five criteria--scholarship, character, service, citizenship, and
leadership--be considered in the selection process.
Requirements for the O'Rourke Chapter of the
NJHS
Scholarship:
- 90 average for the first three quarters of the seventh
grade
Character, service, citizenship, and leadership:
- 30 hours of community service.
- Attendance at informational meeting in June.
- Faculty recommendation and service plan handed in by prescribed
due date in June.
- Service record handed in by prescribed due date in September.
