The Camp Invention program is a week-long, nationally acclaimed summer science and creativity experience for elementary school children entering grades 1 through 6. This is a unique opportunity to help cultivate the ideas critical to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) by encouraging exploration and curiosity through exciting, hands-on inquiry based approach which fosters "whole systems" thinkers.
In this year’s “Morphed!” program, children will use real tools, circuits, and materials from the Inventor Supply Room to build original prototypes. They will construct an epic, insect-themed pinball machine and find inspiration from inventors, including National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees whose inventions have changed the world, and so much more. It is going to be great!
Camp Invention will be held at Pashley Elementary School from July 14 to 18 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
BH-BL teachers Katie Duell, Lisa Burton and Roger Kopa will be the instructors.
