The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Music Department will again offer summer music study for students in grades 4 through 12 who currently play a band or orchestra instrument.
The program will be held at BH-BL High School and will run from July 7 to August 1, 2014.
Students may sign up for any of the four-week lessons and ensembles that fit their family activity and vacation schedules.
The Summer Music program allows students to improve or maintain their instrumental skills in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Students may take once weekly lessons and perform in a band or orchestra. Students may also study Jazz techniques, learn a new instrument, or play chamber music in small ensembles.
The program cost is $12.50 for one lesson and two ensemble practices each week, or $50 for the entire four-week session.
