Five BH-BL athletic teams win sectional championships, regional and state competitions up next

Congratulations to the Boys Volleyball, Girls Volleyball, Boys  Cross-country, Girls Soccer and Girls Field Hockey teams for winning sectional championships this year!

Congratulations is also in order for our sectional finalists, the Girls Tennis and Girls Cross-Country teams!

Additionally, Football and the Girls Swimming team will compete for sectional titles this week. Swimming will be Saturday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. at Shenendehowa, and football will be Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. also at Shenendehowa.

Regional Championship competitions

The next steps for the BH-BL sectional champions will be to begin Regional-level competitions.

Girls Soccer will compete against Jamesville Dewit on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Stillwater at 6:30 p.m. and the Boys Volleyball team will compete on Wednesday, Nov. 6 against Horseheads at 6 p.m. at Cobleskill.

Also competing at the Regional-level on Saturday, Nov. 9 are: the Girls Field Hockey team at Cicero North Syracuse (CNS) at noon; Girls Volleyball at CNS at 2 p.m.; Boys Volleyball at CNS at 4 p.m. (if they win on Wednesday) and Girls Soccer at Stillwater at 1 p.m. (if they win on Tuesday).

State Finals

Good luck to the Boys Cross-Country team, who will complete for State finals on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 10:15 a.m. at Queensbury. Go Spartans!
