The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake School District website, redesigned and launched this past September, has won a National Award of Merit in the 2014 Publications and Electronic Media Contest.
The contest, opened to all public and private school districts in the United States, is sponsored by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). An Award of Merit is the second highest honor bestowed by NSPRA.
The district website was recognized in the Internet/Intranet School Web Sites category and was judged on content clarity, appropriateness and freshness, graphic design, usability, functionality and overall depth of information. There were more than 700 entries in this year's contest.
