HS students hold masquerade ball, raise $2000 for Ainsley’s Angels charity

High school students in FBLA and advisor Jen Wheeler recently hosted a schoolwide masquerade ball to raise funds for the Ainsley’s Angels charity. Students donned semi-formal gowns and masks, and had a blast dancing and striking poses in the photo booth. Guest speakers included Shaun Evans and his family who spoke to students about the purpose of Ainsley’s Angels and his Run Across America with his son who was born with cerebral palsy. BH-BL students raised more than $2000 for Ainsley’s Angels, which is an organization that was founded because of Ainsley Rossiter who was diagnosed with Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy but her family found that she was happiest when participating in running races with them. Ainsley’s Angels helps many children with disabilities become involved in active lifestyles.
