BH-BL students get moving at district’s math fun night
The district’s first K-5 Math & Movement Night was a huge hit. Parents, students, teachers and high school student volunteers worked together to solved math problems using large-scale floor mats aimed at making math fun by incorporating whole-body movements.
“We want to help kids see how fun math can be,” said one elementary teacher. “If they learn early on that math doesn’t have to be scary, then the possibilities are endless.”
