Five BH-BL HS students name Commended Students by National Merit Scholarship Program
Congratulations to Edward Hull, Samantha Whitman, Bradley Albright, Miya Hugaboom and William Halm for being recognized as Commended Students in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program. They were recognized for their exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the PSAT.
More than 1.5 million students the PSATs but these students were among the 34,000 high performers to be named Commended Students nationwide.
“This recognition is a result of the students’ years of hard work and exceptional effort,” says High School Principal Tim Brunson. “Their dedication to their education is certainly commendable. The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake School district administrators, faculty, and staff are extremely proud of their achievements. Our sincere best wishes are extended to them as they continue their academic pursuits. I have no doubt that each of them will find success in whatever they choose to do.”
