Free viewing of “Screenagers” film, Jan. 25
BH-BL parents and students are invited to attend a free viewing of the new film “Screenagers” on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the BH-BL HS auditorium.
The film focuses on how the digital age impacts children by highlighting the struggles over social media, video games, academics, and internet addiction. It also includes strategies for how to empower students to better navigate the digital world and how families can minimize the harmful effects and find balance.
Immediately following the 68-minute film a panel of social workers and educators will host a discussion and answer questions from the audience.
While the film is generally aimed at parents and middle and high school students, elementary school children are also welcome to attend with their parents.
This event is free. An RSVP is not needed. If you have questions about the event, please contact Community Liaison Dacey Bonney at firstname.lastname@example.org.
