The Great Kindness Challenge is one week dedicated to creating a culture of kindness on campuses nationwide during the week of January 27.
Charlton Heights is proudly participating in this proactive, positive bullying prevention initiative. Students will be doing activities to support this initiative in class and during lunch/recess.
This year’s theme is “Be the ‘I’ in Kind.” T-shirts sales supporting this theme started on January 21. You can order a shirt through the link on the PTA newsletter (membership toolkit) or through the flyer sent home in your child’s take home folder. Orders will be taken until January 31.
In addition, there will be kindness bracelets for sale during lunch on Monday-Wednesday, Jan. 27-29. The bracelets are Spartan colors (maroon & white) and have Be the ‘I’ in Kind written on the front and the back. Bracelets are $2. Cash only please!
You and your family can do the Great Kindness Challenge as well! Check out the GKC Family Edition website that shows how your family can participate.
