UPDATE: MARCH 27
The delivery of meals and remote learning requires some staff to be on site, therefore BH-BL is considered to be an essential business. The district will operate with minimal staff during the extended class cancellation that was issued until April 15 by Governor Cuomo. All building offices will be open next week, Monday, March 30 to Friday, April 3 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with access for essential purposes only. Please call the main line at 518-399-9141 for assistance or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
UPDATE: MARCH 20
On Friday, March 20, NYS Governor Cuomo requested that all non-essential businesses operate with 100 percent of their employees in a work-from-home arrangement as part of the “New York State on Pause” directive designed to help slow the spread of COVID-19. BH-BL will be doing its part to adhere to this directive, with the exception of some staff, for example, those who are preparing and disseminating school meals to students, etc.
Beginning Monday, March 23, all five school buildings and the district office are closed to the public. We now have one one centralized phone number, 518-399-9141, where anyone who has a question can leave a message. The voicemail for that number will be checked regularly Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The messages will then be delivered to the appropriate person for a response. The same system has been set up for email correspondences. Questions can be emailed to email@example.com. That email inbox will also be checked regularly and messages will be forwarded to the appropriate person.
We appreciate your patience as we navigate through these unprecedented times. We continue to be here for our community, staff and students, so please do not hesitate to contact us through the above mentioned channels or email employees directly.
