Senator Tedisco Recognizes CHES’s Annual Respite Night

Charlton Height Elementary School recently held its sixth Annual Respite Night that provides a fun, safe environment for special needs students while giving their parents a night out.

This year’s event was marked by a special guest–Senator Jim Tedisco–who presented event organizer Terry Koster and Superintendent Patrick McGrath–with a NYS Senate Proclamation recognizing this initiative and the SOAR Program.

“As a former special education teacher, I know how important activities and programs like this are,” said Senator Tedisco.
