Hey O’Rourke, want to help kids battle cancer and send a fun message with a Jolly Rancher for St. Patrick’s Day? During lunch this week, purchase a Shamrock Message for 1 dollar to send to a friend. Members of Honor Society will deliver your Shamrock Message to the person you choose on St. Patrick’s Day. All proceeds will be donated to St. Baldrick’s Charity.
Attention 7th and 8th grade book club members: Our next book club meeting will be on Tuesday, March 17th during AP. We will be discussing the end of Catching Fire and deciding on our next book. Please let Ms. Bokor know if you cannot attend.
Thursdays are recycling day at O’Rourke. Homeroom teachers, please send one student down to the cafeteria with your recycling bin. Any bottles that can be recycled can be brought down at this time, too.
And Thursday’s is School Banking Day. Students with accounts at First New York Federal Credit Union can bring their deposits to the main office.
Art club will meet today in room 141.
Can you sing, dance, act ,or have some kind of hidden talent? Are you interested in showing it off in this year’s district wide talent show? Try out for the Follies. Please use the link in the announcements to sign up to audition no later than March 15th. Auditions will be held at the High School Black Box theater. Google Form to sign up for auditions by March 15th.
