Today is School banking day at O’Rourke. Each Thursday, students with accounts at First New York Federal Credit Union can bring their deposits to the main office.
Thursdays are recycling day at O’Rourke. Homeroom teachers, please send one student down to the cafeteria with your recycling bin. Any bottles that can be recycled can be brought down at this time, too.
A reminder to all students that you do not have school tomorrow. Enjoy the long weekend.
The 7th and 8th grade Book Club will meet Tuesday during AP. See Ms. Bokor if you cannot attend.
Founders Day Award Nominations are now being accepted. This award recognizes teachers, staff, and volunteers in the district whose contributions go above and beyond. Please consider nominating someone deserving. The deadline for nominations is January 30th.
Use this online form (https://bit.ly/4pR3GTS) to nominate someone for the O’Rourke Middle School’s Founder’s Day Award. The PTA will choose two awardees. Awards will be presented at the district-wide Founder’s Day ceremony on March 19th in the High School Auditorium. More event details to come.
