Capital Region Prism Invasive Species Poster Contest Winners!

Congratulations to art students, Catherine Ree, winner of the Capital Region Prism Invasive Species Poster Contest and to Samuel Leone whose poster artwork took second place.  The poster contest was open to high school students from eleven New York State counties.

Attention all Seniors who had Mrs. Heiner for English 9

Remember your senior letters that you wrote four years ago?  They are now available for pick-up!  For in-person students, please stop by Mrs. Heiner’s room anytime during the day, or during AAP.  For fully virtual students, please email her to make alternate pick-up arrangements.

Camp Invention is looking for Leadership Interns, July 12-16!

Mrs. Stein is looking for volunteers this summer to help with Camp Invention!  Leadership Interns help inspire creativity, innovation, and collaboration, serve as positive role models, and help provide a safe learning environment for young campers.  This is a great opportunity to build your own leadership skills and resume while earning 40 community service hours!  Contact Mrs. Stein if you are interested.  Limited spots are available and they will fill up quickly!

Student Chromebook Help Center

The Student Chromebook Help Center is located in the High School Tech Office in the back left corner of the Library.  Office hours are from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.  Please contact Mrs. Zarnofsky (szarnofsky@bhbl.org) with any questions or concerns regarding your chromebook, Google account or eSchool.  Additional information is available at the Link.


You are in luck!  A few extra yearbooks were sent!  To purchase a yearbook at this time, go to yearbookforever.com and enter Burnt Hills.  You will be able to purchase a book on this site.  If you prefer to pay with cash or check, please email Ms. Cousins at nscousins@bhbl.org to make arrangements.  There are a limited number of copies, so don’t wait.

Student Fees/Parking Tags

Fees must be paid to the main office in the baskets provided:  in a sealed envelope including cash/check, name, subject and teacher.  Receipts will be given to the appropriate teacher and any student needing a receipt/tag will be contacted via email to pick them up.

Job Assist

Now is the time to begin looking for summer employment.  Need assistance?Contact Mrs. Szablewski the Job Assist Coordinator at mszablewski@bhbl.org to set up a Google Meet appointment during AAP.

Many part time jobs are available but you will need your working papers to work.  Please see the Counseling Center for more information.
