Driver Education Offered for Summer 2021, Applications due by Friday, June 11 – please apply on the website
Applications are being accepted until Friday, June 11 for the summer session, which runs from Tuesday, July 6 through Thursday, July 29 from 8-9:30 a.m., (July 9 is the only scheduled Friday from 8-9:30 a.m.).
Students must bring their $300 check (made payable to BH-BL Schools) to the Main Office by the deadline. The first class and opening meeting, with instructors, will outline the Driver Education program expectations and procedures. Class assignments and the remainder of the schedule will be discussed at this time so attendance on Tuesday, July 6 is mandatory.
Enrolled students receive 24 hours of classroom instruction. NYS DTSE is no longer allowing driver education instructors to provide the in-vehicle portion of the course. Therefore, this portion of the course must now be handled only by the student’s legal parent/guardian. In the event we are allowed to hold drive sessions, the current schedule will be impacted.
We require that all student have a valid New York State Learner’s Permit or Drivers License, (which must be uploaded in the application) in order to be eligible for enrollment.
