Students Perform in SPAC Dance Video

It’s becoming another Charlton Heights tradition–the SPAC Dance Residency! Fourth-grade, in-person students along with virtual fourth-grade students  have spent that past few weeks working with a team of dance and choreography professionals at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on a school-based dance residency.

As part of the residency program, the students participated in two in-person sessions and also learned through virtual lessons prepared by staff at SPAC. Students and staff then recorded a performance of the dance to the music of “Too Darn Hot” from Kiss Me Kate. The video is being featured in Stewarts Shops across New York State for the next two weeks! Check it out below.

Congratulations to our students and staff, and thank you to Mike Zygo, Jill Zygo and Dennis Moench from SPAC for their artistry, and to the CHES PTA for sponsoring this wonderful program.
