Methodology to allocate state, local funds to school buildings

For the 2018-19 school year, the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District allocates staffing across the district’s buildings based upon student needs with an effort to ensure equity of staff resources among students of the same grade level. With regard to the allocation of funding for student materials and supplies, decisions are made based on student enrollment and needs.

For the 2019-20 budget process, the 2018-19 per pupil budgeted allocations are reviewed to ascertain any significant funding disparities. If a significant funding disparity is identified, staff resources may be reallocated as necessary and appropriate.
