Around 4 a.m. this morning, Tuesday, Jan. 19, a portion of Route 50 in Glenville (between Gleason Road and Charlton Road) was temporarily closed while crews to repaired a break in the gas line.
The Alplaus Fire Department has informed the district that the situation has been resolved, the area is safe, there is no odor, and the closed roads will be reopened around 7 a.m.
Our school buses are now be able to travel on Route 50, therefore, all BH-BL schools will remain on schedule. Please continue to check the website for any further developments or updates.
