Board Adopts Proposed 2023-24 Budget to Go Before Voters May 16

At its April 19 meeting, the Board of Education adopted the 2023-24 school budget proposal that goes before voters Tuesday, May 16. Polls are open from 7 am to 9 pm in the gymnasium at BH-BL High School, 88 Lakehill Road.

The proposed budget carries an estimated average 0% tax rate increase with a 1.12% tax levy increase. Residents are also asked to select three candidates to the Board of Education to serve three-year terms. Learn more about the candidates here and at Meet-the-Candidates Night, Tuesday, May 9 at 7 p.m. in the HS Library.
