BH-BL High School and Capital Region BOCES Career & Technical Education senior Braydon Wells donned his CTE graduation gown and welding helmet this week in the welding lab at the Albany CTE Center.
The senior will graduate from CTE Thursday, June 11 during a ceremony at University at Albany, and from BH-BL on Thursday, June 25 at SPAC.
Wells is one of more than 600 seniors to graduate from Capital Region BOCES that day. He said he is excited to ‘forge’ his future in welding. “I am looking forward to getting into the workforce and putting my skills to work,” he said.
He said welding is his passion. “I like welding because I get to work with my hands. You aren’t sitting around,” he adds.
