The previously postponed “Opening School Q&A Session” has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, at 6 pm prior to the Board of Education meeting. The meeting will be held in the O’Rourke Middle School cafeteria, 173 Lakehill Road. (Enter through the music door entrance.) The regularly scheduled Board meeting will immediately follow.
In the interest of time, you may continue to submit questions to me, Tara Mitchell, at tmitchell@bhbl.org until Wednesday afternoon. Previously submitted questions have already been logged and will be answered at the Q&A Session by Superintendent Patrick McGrath and Assistant Superintendents David Collins & Chris Abdoo.
The session will begin with an “Opening School” status update from Dr. McGrath, followed by responses to submitted questions.
Lastly, the new Governor is slated to be sworn into office on Tuesday, August 24. Please keep an eye out for announcements from her office and/or the Department of Health regarding changes or mandates required for school district openings that could potentially change the focus of our session.
