Due to the extreme weather forecast, the National Weather Service has issued a heat warning July 14, for the counties making up the BH-BL School District. With temperatures reaching a “real feel” of 102 degrees, the district’s outdoor facilities (i.e., playgrounds, athletic fields, tennis courts, etc.) will be closed to the public from 10 am to 8 pm on Tuesday, July 14.
Summer Rec at Stevens Elementary School, ESY (Extended School Year), and ESS (Elementary Summer School) will remain open and on schedule, but will take place inside air-conditioned rooms.
Anyone participating in youth sports activities/camps at BH-BL on July 14, will hear directly from the coaching/program staff regarding planned activities.
