Pashley Physical Education teachers Kim Ferrie and Adam Cohen recently entered a contest sponsored by the New York State Association for Health Physical Education Recreation and Dance (NYS AHPERD) Association that was themed “Jump Start on our School Year.”
Their lesson was aimed at bringing awareness to the importance of fitness for all of first responders. They turned the gymnasium into a “Trooper Training” set and invited NYS Troopers to share their stories of fitness. And, of course, to work on their fitness skills together! (Even Principal Bonancio joined in the fun!)
